Former Tema Youth defender Ruben Hennessy has agreed a deal to join newly promoted betPawa Premier League side Kpando Heart of Lions.
The player has signed a three-year deal with Lions, who were promoted back to the Ghanaian top-flight last season.
Hennessy, will add experience to the Lions side as they make their return to the Elite Division after being demoted to the National Division One League (DOL) at the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
An official announcement on this deal, will soon be confirmed by Lions who will be hoping to stay up in the league next season.
Coach Fatawu Salifu who guided the team back to the top flight league from the DOL Zone Three campaign last season, will look to build on this going forward.
He has started his preseason program ahead of the start of next season which has been planned to kickoff in September.
The fixtures for the 2023/24 campaign, are due to be released later this month with Heart of Lions expecting to play their home matches at the Kpando Park.
