Ghana will face Benin in the second round of the Olympic Games Women’s football qualifiers after overcoming Guinea on Tuesday.
The Black Queens, qualified on a 7-0 aggregate over the Guineans in their two-legged first round affair.
After beating Guinea 3-0 in the away leg in Conakry over the weekend, Ghana, completed the qualification process in Accra on Tuesday with a 4-0 victory to secure passage to the next round.
There, the Black Queens will be up against Benin for a place in the third qualifying round to the football tournament at the Paris Olympics in 2024.
This two-legged affair, will be played in October, 2023 with the matches coming up between 23-31 October.
Benin, reached this stage after beating Guinea Bissau 5-4 on aggregate after winning their home leg 3-2.
The winner of the Ghana and Benin tie, will progress to the third qualifying round in February next year.
Africa, has two slots for the Olympic Games Women’s football tournament next year in France.
