Freezy Macbones known in real life as Seth Gyimah rose to fame after his much anticipated bout with Darryl sharp on 19th April 2023. His nationality became an issue of discussion when it was revealed that Ghana boxing authority refused to grant him license to fight. It was later revealed that the U.K are fighting their way to have Macbones to fight as a UK national. The 33-year old boxer also double up as a chef won his first professional bout in April and is signed to UK’s top boxing promoter, Queensberry Promotions.
It is expected that the boxer will fight as a Ghanaian after months of talks with Ghana boxing authority. From report monitored, the boxer is expected to swear his allegiance to Ghana over United Kingdom.
Freezy Macbones was born and raised in Bimma in Ashanti region of Ghana and took the leap and travel to the UK in 2012 in search of a better life and better work for himself and his family. He has 18 amateur boxing bouts and 1 professional bout to his name. This comes as a good news for Ghana boxing.
