Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin said his Legon Cities side will be very competitive next season, and expects them to be difficult to beat.
The former Ghana U17 coach, said he is looking to build a very formidable side that will challenge for honours next season.
Coach Fabin, was unveiled as new helmsman for Legon Cities on Tuesday in Accra, replacing Maxwell Konadu who has pitched camp with fellow top-flight side Nsoatreman FC.
‘‘I am happy to join Legon Cities,’’ coach Fabin said at his unveiling, adding that he will do his maximum to repose the trust in him.
“After leaving my previous club, I wanted to stay off for a while and start my own academy but when Legon Cities FC called, it was difficult to say no,” he added.
‘I am excited to be here and start this new challenge. I look forward to a fruitful season together with the management and everyone connected here,” he said.
“We are working around the clock to sign some new players to beef up the squad. We will be ready before the start of the season.”
Legon Cities, will look to improve on their performance of last season after finishing ninth in the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.
“We have to improve the team together and do a lot of work. I started work on Monday, and I am intent on doing my very best for this football club.”
Coach Fabin, has signed a two-year deal with Legon Cities, and they will open their account in the 2023-24 betPawa Premier League in an away encounter against Karela United next month.
