Great Olympics have released a list of signings and a list of registered players for the upcoming season that begins in a fortnight.
The Capital-based club has made a total of 14 signings to augment their squad. Olympics decamped relegation at the final games of the season sitting just above the relegation zone with 3 points. After such an abysmal performance last season, it’s only right for Annor Walker and his technical team to identify weaknesses of his team and sign players that can boost their performance.
14 new players have been added the squad with majority of the players coming from the lower leagues. 2 goalkeepers, 2 strikers, 2 left backs, 2 central defenders, 3 wingers, a right back and a midfielder making up to the 14 new players.With another list released showing 19 players registered for the club.
Techiman city football club saw 3 of their players moving south to the capital, the most of any club to move to Olympics followed by AttramDevisser and RK 22 football Academy with two players each transferred to the two-time Ghana Premier league winners.Though a lot of signings has been made, it’s yet to be confirmed wether Olympics are done with their signings. Fans are elated with the club’s players acquisitions with hopes that they can propel them to an even greater position in the league.
The league starts on 15 September 2023 and Great Olympics expects to attain a more respectable position in the upcoming season.
