Accra Hearts of Oak will open the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League with an away encounter against RTU in Tamale as the football season begins.
The Phobians, will look to get their campaign off to a good start when they visit the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Friday, September 15, 2023.
The game has been fixed for a 6:00 PM kick-off time as the Ghanaian football season starts.
Also on the opening weekend of the campaign, Accra Great Olympics will host Bofoakwa Tano at the Accra Sports Stadium, a day after the game in Tamale.
Five games will then be played on Sunday, with Legon Cities at home at the El-Wak Stadium in Accra against Karela United.
Bechem United will make the short trip to Nsoatre to take on local side Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Kromansah Sports Complex.
FC Samartex 1996 will welcome Aduana FC to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samreboi with Bibiani Gold Stars away to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park, Berekum.
The aforementioned games, will kickoff at 3:00 PM local time across all centres with an evening kickoff set for 6:00 PM in Kumasi.
That will see Asante Kotoko host Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium to close Sunday’s fixtures.
Two more matches will be played the following Wednesday at Dawu and Tarkwa to close the Matchday One fixtures.
Dreams FC will welcome Nations FC to the Theatre of Dreams Park, Dawu with reigning champions Medeama SC hosting Accra Lions at the Akoon Community Park, Tarkwa.
Both Dreams FC and Medeama SC, will be engaged in continental action on the opening weekend of the new season, reason why their opening games have been moved.
