In what seems like an unending feud between some members of Kessben sports and the outgone Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management, the legal representatives of the former CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has written to a member of the Kessben sports team to retract and apologize over a defamation story.
Nodus between the two parties began when a member of the sports team, then also a representative of a German based kit manufacturing company, the hope brand was led to the then board of the Kumasi based club in a bid to be the official kit sponsors of the club. Details of the meeting between the representatives of the kit manufacturer and the board members were made public much to the dissatisfaction of Frank Naro, the rep of the kit manufacturer. Since then, the scuffle never seem to die down between them. Just recently, Oheneba Micheal Nyame popularly known in the media space as Kwame Mekki, the local sports news anchor of the Kumasi based radio station is on record to have asserted that the outgone CEO held a birthday party with coffers of the club.
The revelation; even though sounded confusing left a section of the fan base questioning the integrity of the story. In a twitter post, Oheneba Michael Nyame wrote this about NYA

In an interesting twist of events, the legal team of Nana Yaw Amponsah has directly written to Oheneba Micheal Nyame in a letter dated 7th September 2023 and signed 8th September 2023 to retract and apologize to the former CEO for his defamatory comments using the same media he used in publicizing his story or convey him to court for further redress.
Per the letter, Kwame Mekki has until Monday 11th September, 2023 to respond to the letter. As to wether Kwame Mekki will eat his own words and apologize is another episode of this twilight story.
