Ghana’s two biggest football clubs Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak recorded mixed results as the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League (BPL) got underway last weekend.
Asante Kotoko were held to a draw at home with Hearts of Oak tasting defeat on the road in their opening games of the season.
Berekum Chelsea and Nsoatreman FC set the early pace with wins with Legon Cities, RTU and FC Samartex also recording opening day victories.
