Ghana top-flight side Bibiani Gold Stars are to to offer Asante Kotoko a proper showdown as they go in search of their first ever victory over the Porcupines this weekend.
The Miners, will host Kotoko in a betPawa Premier League Matchday Two fixture at the Dun’s Park, Bibiani on Saturday.
Gold Stars will be in search of a maiden win over the record Ghana champions since they joined the topflight a couple of seasons ago.
In the two games they have played at the Dun’s Park, Gold Stars have lost one (0-1) in the 2021/22 season, and drawn the other (1-1) last season.
Chieftains at the club, are bent on getting the result this time as the Porcupines visits the mining municipality this weekend.
Gold Stars lost their opening league game of the season (0-2), at Berekum Chelsea last weekend, and they will be eager to get their campaign back on track as they play for the first time at home.
Coach Michael Osei and his charges, have been preparing intensely for this fixture, and the former Asante Kotoko and Ghana international, will look to pull a fast one over his former employers.
