Pressure is mounting on Accra Hearts of Oak coach Martin Koopman as the Phobians failed to win for the second game running.
The capital club, were held to a scoreless draw by Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday as the betPawa Premier League continued with the Matchday Four fixtures over the weekend.
Hearts of Oak, have won just one of the four matches they have played this season, losing two, both away with Sunday’s draw to show for.
This is not progress as the former African champions seek to win the title this season.
Some fans of the Phobians expressed their displeasure on the performance of the team and especially that of Coach Koopman after yesterday’s game, and the Dutchman has been called upon to improve matters.
The pressure on his head will grow if results don’t improve with fans of the club having a history of playing a massive role in the sacking of coaches on the past.
Certainly, things are not going in the right direction at Accra Hearts of Oak, with performances and results on a down side, and, things must improve quickly if they want to achieve their aims for the season.
Accra Hearts of Oak will next play Kpando Heart of Lions in an away encounter, another difficult game as the league continues this weekend.
Failure to get a result in this Matchday Five fixture, could spell the end of Coach Koopman at Accra Hearts of Oak, less than three months into his reign.
