Ghana won seven medals at the just ended four-nation veterans table tennis tournament held in Benin.
Ghana’s team, was led by Richard Laryea, (Chen Longa), Technical Director of Ghana Veterans Table Tennis Association (GVTTA), as they dominated the contest that also involved Togo, Benin and China.
The Ghana team worked very hard with its head coach Adolf Awotwe to secure the seven medals in the fifth edition of four-nations tournament in Benin.
Richard Laryea, has been in this position as player/Technical Director for the past two years, working very hard to bring success to Team Ghana.
Ghana won four gold medals, two silvers and a bronze medal at the event in Benin making the nation win the tournament in its fifth edition.
Mr Laryea and his team, continues to work to take table tennis to greater heights in the mist of the challenges they face.
