Ghana will look to make it two wins out of two as they seek to make it to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Black Stars will play the Islanders of Comoros in Moroni today as the qualifiers to the event in Canada, Mexico and the United States continues.
The game kicks off at 4:00 PM Ghana time, 7:00 PM in Moroni, venue for the encounter.
Ghana opened her account in the Group I qualifiers with a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Madagascar in Kumasi last Friday, as they seek to make it to a second successive Mundial.
Coach Chris Hughton and his charges, will be up against it in this fixture against the hosts who won their opener 4-2 against the Central African Republic, (CAR) at home.
In the last encounter between these two sides, Comoros beat the Black Stars 3-2 at the 2022 AFCON tournament hosted by Cameroon, and this will be on the minds of the Ghanaians.
Coach Hughton said, his boys are prepared for this game, and will expect them to rise to the challenge in today’s game.
At home, the Islanders will prove very stubborn to breakdown especially as they play in front of their home fans.
They will feel positive about their chances against a Ghana team they had the better off when they last met.
This, therefore sets up an eye-catching encounter with both sides knowing they will top the group if they pick the three points as the qualifiers takes a break after today.
