Sensational MidCity FC will look to open their account with a win as the Ashanti Regional Second Division League starts this weekend.
The Lions begin their quest to qualify to the National Division One League on Saturday with an away encounter against Adom FC.
This Zone Five fixture, will be played at the Prempeh College football pitch, Kumasi with kickoff time set for 3:00 PM local time.
MidCity FC, are one of eight clubs competing in Zone Five in the regional league, as they seek to get the sole ticket from the pool to qualify to the promotional league playoffs.
The team have been preparing very well for the season, and they are huge favourites to collect the three points.
Other matches coming up in the zone on the opening weekend, will see Kumawuman playing Samosa FC; Mahoni FC squares off against Soccer 4 Souls with Deportivo engaging Bantama Lions.
All the matches will be played on Saturday at the Prempeh College park, with the games starting at 9:00 AM local time in the Garden City.
