Asante Kotoko begins their quest to win a 10th FA Cup trophy on Tuesday as they host neighbours Nations FC in Kumasi.
This tie, is one of seven games coming up on Tuesday as the competition continues with the Round of 64 matches.
Other ties, will be played on Wednesday and Thursday across the length and breath of Ghana with a place in the Round of 32 at stake this midweek.
Asante Kotoko will look to carry their recent good run in the betPawa Premier League into the tie they are hosting at the Baba Yara Stadium.
However, Nations FC are also on a good run having won their last three games in the league, and they will look to win this game, despite being the underdogs.
The two sides have already cross paths this season, after playing out an entertaining 2-2 drawn game in the league at the home of Nations FC.
A similar close contest is anticipated in this afternoon’s encounter with Asante Kotoko the favourites to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Other matches coming up on Tuesday, will see Accra Great Olympics at home to Golden Kicks FC at the Accra Sports Stadium as they seek passage to the next stage.
Na God FC will host Vision FC at the Tema Sports Stadium; Miremano FC plays Baffour Soccer Academy at the Golden City Park, Berekum.
Blue Skies Pelicans will host Koforidua Suhyen at the Pelican Park, Doboro near Nsawam; Namoro FC hosts King Faisal FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese, Kumasi.
Kasalgu Arrow Heads FC will welcome Northern City FC to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale with all games kicking off at 3:00 PM except the Asante Kotoko tie with Nations FC that has been fixed to start at 5:00 PM.
