John Mawuli Nyarko is to serve as Captain of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) for the third time.
He was elected unopposed as captain on November 16, 2023, and plans to take the sport to even better levels.
Mr Mawuli Nyarko, expressed delight at his retention, and promised to serve with all humility and loyalty.
As a golfer, he started playing sport in 1992 as an amateur before turning professional in 1995, and he has been captain of the PGA since 2017.
The astute golfer, founded a golf academy in 2018 which currently has a membership of over 30 players with kids aged from four years and above.
He said golf is an exciting and energetic sport which must be embraced by the youth of Ghana because it is rewarding as well.
He is a staunch member of the Celebrity Golf Club, Sakumono and also plays at the Center of the World club at Tema, and hopes a Ghanaian will one day become an African or world champion.
