High-flying MidCity FC, produced a stunning performance to beat Samosa FC 3-0 as they returned to the top of the stairs in Zone Five as the Ashanti Regional Second Division League continued over the weekend.
The Lions, top the standings after seven matches as they posted their fifth win of the campaign to top the table by a point following defeat by former leaders Soccer 4 Souls.
MidCity FC, have 16 points from the seven matches they have played, and they will look to consolidate on this position as the season progresses.
In other games played in the zone on Sunday, Soccer 4 Souls lost their second game of the campaign with a 2-0 defeat by Kumawuman FC as they dropped to the second position.
Bantama Lions beat Mahoni FC 2-1 with Adom FC also winning by the same margin over Deportivo SC with all the matches played at the Prempeh College football Park, Kumasi.
