Former Hearts of Oak coach, Eric Amponsah, embarks on a new journey as he joins the Sudan senior national team to bolster their goalkeeping department. The seasoned coach, who recently parted ways with Berekum Chelsea, brings a wealth of experience to Sudan’s football landscape, aiming to enhance their goalkeeping prowess.
Amponsah’s appointment comes as Sudan seeks improvement in their goalkeeping ranks, with the objective of strengthening their national team’s performance on the field. He steps into the role previously held by former Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatawu Daudu, with the expectation of transforming Sudan’s goalkeeping setup.
Having served as the goalkeeper’s coach during Samuel Boadu’s tenure at Hearts of Oak, Amponsah’s expertise and track record in developing talent make him a valuable addition to Sudan’s coaching staff.
