Ghana’s Elvis Ahorgah (13-2, 11 KOs) believes he can bring surprise when he faces unbeaten champion Callum Simpson (16-0, 11 KOs) for the Commonwealth Super Middleweight title on Saturday.
The match will take place at Wembley Arena, Wembley, London, England before a likely packed crowd.
Currently training at the Black Panthers Gym, Jamestown, Accra, Ahorgah expressed that this is a fantastic chance to compete for the Commonwealth title.
“I will astonish Simpson and British boxing fans on Saturday,” he stated.
Known as the ‘Soldier Boxer’, Ahorgah will be competing outside Ghana for the first time, but he asserted he isn’t scared, as he is a strong man eager for challenges and to witness the toughest and finest aspects of boxing worldwide.
His trainer, Ebenezer Adjei, also known as Coach Killer, highlighted that they are entering the fight with only one goal in mind: to win.
“I am confident we can succeed because Elvis is a resilient boxer and he aims to make a mark for himself and his country; I am very hopeful for a surprise,” he remarked.
