Hosts FC Samartex 1996 will open the 2023 Nsenkyire Cup pre-season tournament on Friday against Legon Cities.
The Timber Giants are hosting three other clubs in this pre-season tournament ahead of the start of the new football season.
After their pre-season training in the Eastern region, FC Samartex have returned to base at Samreboi to round up their preparations for the new season with the hosting of this tournament.
They will look to make it a host and win affair as they also welcome Berekum Chelsea and Nsoatreman FC to the Western region for this event.
The opening game of the tournament has been scheduled to kickoff at 1:00 PM at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena where all the matches will be played.
Berekum Chelsea will then take on Nsoatreman FC in the second game of the day at 4:00 PM local time to close the first day of the tournament.
The tournament will continue with two more games on Saturday with the event set to end on Sunday with two more matches.
All four clubs, are using this tournament to round up their preparations for the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League which is expected to start on the weekend of September 15-18, 2023.
