Medeama Sporting Club is set to play their Caf Champions League group stage matches at the Tarkwa Na Aboso Stadium in Tarkwa, rain or shine, if they qualify, according to Hon George Mireku Duker, MP for TarkwaNsuaem and deputy Minister Lands & Natural resources.
In an interview with Space FM Tarkwa, Hon Duker revealed that the team would return to Tarkwa for their group stage matches, after winning the first leg 3-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium. He also confirmed that the Tarkwa Na Aboso Stadium was ready to host the games, providing a perfect venue for the club and their fans.
The news will come as a boost for Medeama SC and their supporters, as they look to progress in the competition and make an impact on the continental stage. It is also a testament to Hon Duker’s commitment to supporting local football and promoting sports development in the TarkwaNsuaem constituency.
