Accra Great Olympics top the standings after five matches in the betPawa Premier League after last weekend’s round of matches.
The Wonder Club, are seeking to win a third Ghanaian top-flight title after their last triumph in 1974.
Great Olympics posted their second win of the campaign with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Accra Lions in a capital derby at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
With two wins and three drawn games, Great Olympics lead the standings with nine points, and have yet to concede, scoring four goals in the process.
In second position also with nine points, are FC Samartex with Bofoakwa Tano also on none points from the five matches they have played.
Legon Cities and Asante Kotoko have eight points and in fourth and fifth positions respectively with four clubs Nsoatreman FC, Bibiani Gold Stars, Berekum Chelsea and Real Tamale United all on seven points in that order on the table.
Aduana FC are 10th with six points, with Karela United, Dreams FC and Accra Lions in that order on the table with five points.
The last five clubs on the table, Nations FC, Heart of Lions, Medeama SC, Accra Hearts of Oak and Bechem United, all have four points.
Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano and Heart of Lions remain unbeaten in the league going into this weekend’s Matchday Six fixtures.
