After a protracted and highly publicized three-year legal battle, an Accra court handed down a verdict today, unequivocally confirming that the three children of Gifty Gyan are the offspring of former Ghanaian football captain Asamoah Gyan. According to the court’s judgment, Asamoah Gyan has been directed to provide monthly financial support to Gifty Gyan, amounting to 25,000 Ghana cedis. This allowance will cover the general upkeep of the children but excludes their school fees, medical and dental care, flight tickets, and other child care-related expenses.
In a significant move, the court has awarded Asamoah Gyan’s mansion located in the United Kingdom to Gifty Gyan as compensation. Additionally, Gifty Gyan will take ownership of a four-bedroom house in Spintex.
Furthermore, as part of the court’s decision, a BMW vehicle owned by Asamoah Gyan, along with an Infiniti, have been granted to Gifty Gyan. These assets represent an equitable division of property and resources between the parties involved.
Finally, Asamoah Gyan’s gas station situated in Prampram has been assigned to Gifty Gyan as part of the judgment.
