Ghana beat Namibia 3-1 in a first leg WAFCON 2024 final round qualifier on Friday, to move closer towards qualification to the event next year.
The Black Queens, are looking to qualify to next year’s women’s football event in Morocco after missing out on the last two editions.
Friday’s encounter, was played at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Ghana making the most of the home conditions as they coasted to victory.
Doris Boaduwaa, scored a brace on the day, and together with her colleagues, they will look to secure qualification after the return encounter.
The return encounter will be played next week Tuesday in Namibia with the winner over two legs, advancing to the tournament to be held in Morocco.
