Former coach of Ghana’s female national team, Mercy Tagoe, has been appointed new coach of Accra Hearts of Oak’s female side.
Coach Tagoe, will prepare Oaks FC ahead of the 2023-24 football season.
Oaks FC, plays in the Greater Accra regional league, and will look to gain promotion to the national women’s league next season.
Coach Tagoe, has vast experience coaching female sides, and she is expected to bring this knowledge to help her new side.
Chieftains at the capital club are hoping that the team will do well next season to bring them at par with the top female sides in Ghana.
The team is expected to start preseason soon ahead of what promises to be a busy campaign as they compete on all fronts.
Coach Tagoe, has promised to bring Oaks FC to the levels expected of them, starting from the coming campaign.
