Ghana, qualified alongside Nigeria for the tennis world cup Africa Zone III at the end of the Zone IV tournament in Rwanda.
The Golden Rackets, beat hosts Rwanda 3-0 to qualify on Saturday together with Nigeria who advanced at the expense of Kenya.
Ghana, will compete in the Africa Zone III tournament next year where they will seek to make it to Zone II.
The 2023 Africa Group IV Championship, was held at the Ecology Tennis Club, Kigali, Rwanda, and featured eight nations.
Both Ghana and Nigeria, were the dominant forces in the four-day tournament with some high class performances from their players.
They will face stronger competition at the Zone III level, but both are hopeful of standing up to this next year.
Team Ghana, was represented by Isaac Nortey, Abraham Asaba, Herman Abban, Samuel Antwi and Desmond Ayaaba with Frederick Egyir as captain and coach.
