During a gathering at Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) addressed concerns regarding outstanding bonuses for the Black Queens and Black Princesses.
Following discussions with the Ministry of Sports, it was revealed that the Sports Minister has pledged to ensure that the Black Queens receive their bonuses prior to their upcoming match against Zambia in Kumasi. Similarly, arrangements have been made for the Black Princesses to receive their bonuses ahead of their participation in the All African Games, which Ghana is set to host.
Gifty Oware-Aboagye, speaking on behalf of the GFA, conveyed this reassurance to the press, alleviating fears and uncertainties surrounding the timely disbursement of bonuses for the national women’s teams.
With these commitments in place, both the Black Queens and Black Princesses can focus on their upcoming matches and competitions with confidence, knowing that their financial entitlements will be met prior to their respective engagements.
