The Ghana Football Association dissolved the technical team of the Ghana National Team headed by former Brighton and Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton after a bad performance at the 2024 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

After the reports and recommendations, German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund trainer Scout Otto Addo is selected and will be appointed after a successful negotiation between the FA and the Coach.
Otto Addo qualified the Black Stars of Ghana for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar after eliminating the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the last round of qualifiers. Also at the FIFA World Cup, he guided the Black Stars of Ghana to finish third in their group with three points.
Otto Addo has been given a long-term contract which will be announced before the close of this week. After his announcement, Otto Addo will name his squad for Ghana for Ghana friendlies against the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Cranes of Uganda.
