Ghana coach Otto Addo has named a 23-man squad for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger next month.
The Black Stars will face Angola in Kumasi on September 5, 2024, before heading to Berkane, Morocco to play Niger for the second Group F match four days later.
Former Ghana international, Addo, has called up three goalkeepers, eight defenders, five midfielders and seven forwards for this double-header as Ghana seeks to make it to the even in Morocco next year.
Asante goalkeeper Frederick Asare, is the only locally based player in the squad, maintaining his position in the selection announced for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic during the last international games.
Returning to the squad are Inaki Williams and Majeed Ashimeru who both missed those games injured.
Coach Addo, expects to have a full house of players by Monday to commence preparations for these two fixtures.
Usual suspects, Thomas Partey, Kudus Mohammed, Jordan Ayew, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku are all maintained.
