Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex 1996 have appointed Amadu Nurudeen as their new coach ahead of the 2023/24 football season.
The former King Faisal FC helmsman, has signed a two-year deal with the Timber Giants, hoping to bring success to the Samreboi-based side.
A statement from FC Samartex confirming the deal read: “We’re extremely delighted to announce an experienced tactician, Amadu Nurudeen as our new Head Coach.”
It continued, “The experienced gaffer joins us on a two-year deal,” and hoped he would be a success during his stay in the Western region.
Coach Nurudeen, last coached Future Stars FC in the National Division One League (DOL), guiding them to a mid-table finish last season in Zone Two.
He has been tasked to improve on their 10th place finish in the betPawa Premier League last season.
Coach Nurudeen, takes over from Annor Walker who resigned his position at the end of last season to rejoin his former side Accra Great Olympics.
