Medeama SC player Nurudeen Abdulai, will miss both legs of their CAF Champions League qualifier with Remo Stars of Nigeria next month.
The defender, underwent surgery on Tuesday on an injured leg, and has been ruled out for sometime.
This will be a setback to Medeama SC in their African quest to do well in nes as Abdulai, is one of their trusted defenders.
The club will hope he gets back to full fitness in quick time to join their quest to do well next season.
Medeama SC will host Remo Stars in a first leg CAF Champions League preliminary round qualifier in Ghana on the weekend of August 18-20 with the return encounter coming off on the weekend ending August 25.
The Ghanaian champions will hope to scale through this Nigerian opposition as they seek to make it to the group phase of this year’s competition.
