Former captain for Karela United, Isaac Hagan has said Fc Samartex’s Emmanuel Keyekeh hasn’t enjoy so much of his good work in the public space despite his fine form with the club in the ongoing Ghana premier league.
Hagan and Keyekeh had a good time at Ainyinase when they both played for Karela United but with Hagan ending his playing career abruptly due to health problems.
In a interview with totalsportsghana.com, the former shot stopper felt his former teammate’s incredible performances isn’t appreciated by the football family.
”Keyekeh is much better than many of the players who have had chances of joining the national teams, I think he is so much underrated”.
Emma has never have a flopped season since we all saw him playing in the top light football, he’s a top notch player who on any day can represent Ghana in all our national teams”.
“Keyekeh never failed at Kotoko, he suffered injury and he didn’t get much playing time so we can’t based on that to say he failed at kotoko, look at the number of games he played and his contributions”
The midfielder has made 22 appearances out of the played 33 matches for the Aboi based side having involved himself in 8 goals, scored 5 and assisted 3.
“I think it’s high time that coaches of the national teams should have a critical monitoring of him, Keyekeh, the numbers are clear and huge for him”.
