Ghana’s premier football club, Accra Heart of Oak have announced new directors for the club following the dissolution of the previous board in February 2024.
Togbe Afede XIV, majority shareholder of the club and the CEO of SAS Financial Group will remain as the Executive Board Chairman.
Mr Delali Adjanoh, a PhD holder and the MD of the Club is part of the newly formed directors of Hearts of Oak.
Also on board is former head of the Department of Pathology of the University of Ghana Medical School and a former Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Prof Agyemang Badu Akosa.
Representing the Women Wing of the Club on the board, is a former Justice of the High Court of Ghana and a member of the Council of Patrons of the club, Mrs Ivy Heward-Mills.
However, some notable names on the list are former GFA Chairman, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe and Hon. Vincent Odotei Sowah former CEO of the club in 2008, who were both on the previous board.
