The new Director General of National Sports Authority Hon.Dodzie Numekevor has promised to put back the Authority to its glory days during a meeting with the staff at the media center on 9th April 2024.
In his opening remarks, the former PRO for Ghana High Commission in the UK expressed his excitement for meeting the staff and also outdoor some innovative way he has put in place to regain the public trust in the Authority.
He further stated that, the passage of the sports bill will enable the Authority to explore and implement innovations to generate funds internally to support the running of to institutions.
In his conclusions, he charge all the staff to work acediously and also strive towards the loyalty to the Authority as well as to stay focus on their mandate.
In attendance was the Deputy Director General of National Sports Authority, Mr Majeed Bawa who introduced the new Director General to the staff present.
Hon.Dodzie Numekevor took over from professor Peter Twumasi whose tenure was terminated by president Nana Addo on 26th February 2024.
