Ghana’s Stanley Nyantkyi “The Ashanti Warrior”, is billed to make his USA debut in December as he aims to become a world champion.
The Ashanti Warrior, is scheduled to face Sergio Sosa of Argentina for UBO World Featherweight title on what Nyantakyi will look to turn into a famous night.
The national featherweight and UBO Africa champion, will seek to become the latest world boxing champion from Ghana when he faces the Argentine on December 7, 2024 at the Menomie Casino Resort in Wisconsin, USA.
The 23 year-old Ghanaian, said he is very much excited about this opportunity, and, thanked his management team, Osibor Management and Promotions for believing in him and supporting him to reach the top.
“I am preparing very well for this bout, and I will be ready for anything on fight night”, Nyantakyi said.
He added: “There will be two men of the same weight in the ring, and I trust my corner and I know millions of Ghanaians will be supporting me to win this bout,” he told ace sports journalist Sammy Heywood Okine.
Nyantekyi has a fight record of 10 wins and a loss whilst Sergio Sosa also called El Canalla has 13 wins and four loses.
The 30 year-old Argentine, resides at Villa Hidalgo, Buenos Aires, and last fought in November 2023 losing by TKO.
Nyantekyi, won his last bout in Kumasi last month, and will be joined by John Power and John Zile all of Osibor Promotions for the fight in America.
The bill is promoted by International Boxing and supported by DotCom branding, the Punchline, and Native American Tourism of Wisconsin.
