Medeama Sporting Club today paid a special visit to the Apinto Divisional Council to express gratitude for the council’s unwavering support throughout the football season. The visit also served as an opportunity for the club to acknowledge the critical role the Apinto community played in the team’s success, particularly in securing the Ghana Premier League (GPL) title two seasons ago.
As part of their corporate social responsibility, Medeama SC announced plans to construct three mechanized boreholes in key areas within the Apinto community: Mile 8, Nsuta Mbease, and Obo. This initiative aims to improve access to clean water, thereby enhancing the health and well-being of the residents in these communities.
The Apinto Divisional Council warmly received the club’s gesture and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Medeama SC. The club expressed its eagerness to continue this strong partnership with the Apinto community, as they strive for excellence both on and off the field.
