Bibiani Gold Stars shot-stopper Emmanuel Kobi said, they aim to win the Ghana Premier League (GPL), this season after making a strong start to the campaign.
The Miners, top the standing after eight matches, and the goalie, believes they can go all the way to claim the ultimate at the end of the season.
Last Sunday, they defeated Accra Hearts of Oak 1-0 in Accra to keep their perfect start to the season going, with Kobi, making some fine saves.
“Our aim is to win the championship at the end of the season,” he said after the game.
Kobi, who joined the Bibiani side from relegated Bofoakwa Tano this season, has played a pivotal role in helping Gold Stars stay top with some fine displays in between the sticks.
The goalkeeper, has played in all eight matches for his side, keeping five clean sheets in the process as they sit top of the stairs with 18 points.
Kobi, has won two MVPs so far this season, as Gold Stars remain one of two clubs yet to taste defeat in the ongoing campaign.
His efforts, has helped Gold Stars win five of their matches with three drawn games as they seek a first major silverware in Ghana football.
And, Kobi and his colleagues, will hope to carry that momentum going as the season wores on.
They next play winless Dreams FC at home in Bibiani in a Matchday Nine fixture they will look to win to keep their fine start to the season going.
