FC Samartex 1996 dead Coach, Nuru Ahmed said his sides pre-season defeat to Dreams FC, has provided him some valuable lessons for the future.
Dreams FC, won Wednesday’s encounter 2-0 at their BWoodin Sports Complex, Nanakrom as the two sides prepare for the start of the 2023-24 Ghana football season.
Coach Ahmed, expressed his satisfaction with the friendly game against the MTN FA Cup winners, emphasising that it provided a valuable test for his team.
FC Samartex, are two weeks into their pre-season preparations, and have taken their camp to the Eastern region.
According to Coach Ahmed, this high profile friendly, offers crucial insights into the team’s shape, strengths, and areas for improvement.
He emphasised the importance of developing a harmonious understanding among the players, and will keep working towards that.
“At this stage, the focus is not solely on results but rather on building telepathy, cohesion, and chemistry within the team.” he said.
Coach Ahmed added: “The technical team is diligently working to blend individual attributes into a cohesive unit, aiming to achieve the optimal team balance.”
“By prioritising the integration of various skills and qualities, we intend to create a strong and well-rounded team,” he told the club’s media.
FC Samartex will continue with their preparations for next season with other friendlies as they look to be ready for the start.
The team will play their first betPawa Premier League game of the season at home to Aduana FC at Samreboi next month.
