The National Investment Bank (NIB), underlined their credentials as the best football side among financial institutions in Ghana with victory in the just ended league.
NIB, won the 2023 Bankers Football League over the weekend as the competition climaxed at the La McDan Astro Turf in Accra.
In eight financial institutions took part in the competition, with NIB dominating the field from start to finish, for their third success in the competition.
They finished ahead of the CBG, Cal Bank, Bank of Ghana, Access Bank, Ghana Commercial Bank and First National Bank who competed in this year’s competition.
NIB, took home a giant trophy, gold medals and other silverware for their troubles in the seven-week long competition.
They will look to make it a third successive victory next year, when the competition is held.
For now however, they will savour in this glory as they underline their credentials as the best football financial institution in Ghana.
The Bankers Football League in Ghana, has Alima Issah as CEO, and she expects next year’s competition to be even better, with more banks participating to offer NIB, stiff opposition.
