Susubribi SC striker Johnson Kofi Amuzu has joined Serbian SuperLiga FK Javor Ivanjica, the club has announced.
Amuzu, joins the Serbian top-flight side on a permanent deal from the Ghanaian second tier division after a couple of seasons at the club.
Known as the ‘Terminator’, Amuzu has been a key figure at Susubribi since joining the club, and he will look to extend that influence at his new club.
Susubribi SC have thanked the player for his dedicated service at the club, and wished him the very best of luck in Europe as he begins a new adventure in his career.
At FK Javor Ivanjica, Amuzu will play under head coach Radovan Curcic at the 3,000 capacity Javor Stadium in the 16-club Elite Division League.
The club is currently seventh in the Serbian League after six matches this season, eight points behind leaders Backa Topola going into this weekend’s round of matches.
In the meantime, Susubribi SC, will continue with their preparations for the start of the DOL Zone Three League in October as they aim to secure qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight at the end of next season.
