Medeama SC will start the defence of the betPawa Premier League they won last season on the weekend of September 15-18, 2023 the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has announced.
The GFA, released an updated program ahead of the campaign on Wednesday, confirming that the top-flight league will start on the said date above.
Fixtures for the new season, are expected to be released later this month, with the GFA also announcing that, the official preseason schedule will run between July 29 and September 14, 2023.
The registration window which started on June 20, is scheduled to close on September 1, with the deadline for registration queries, fixed for Monday, September 4, 2023.
Ahead of the new season, the Champion of Champions match between the league holders and the FA Cup winners, would be played.
That game, between Medeama SC and Dreams FC, would be played on Sunday, September 3 at a venue to be announced later by the GFA.
