Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, Samuel Aboabire has tapped the Tema Metro FA for a job well done in being accountable to its members.
Mr Aboabire, said, this is the way to go in bringing sanity and trust into the game and this is what he has always championed for.
The Greater Accra RFA chairman, made these comments at the Tema Metro FA Congress held on Thursday at the Apple Hotel, Community Four, Tema.
The Congress, was attended by members of the Tema metropolitan football fraternity as key decisions were taken ahead of the start of the new football season.
Mr Aboabire, said, the Tema Metro FA is in the top two in rankings of the 12 district RFA’s in the Greater Accra region, under the leadership of Daasebre Adu-Asare.
The Congress, approved the accounts of last season, as well as the budget for the upcoming campaign.
Daasebre Adu-Asare, announced that the 2023/24 Division Three League in the municipality, will commence on the weekend of December 8, 9 and 10, 2023 with the juvenile league set to kickoff in mid January next year all things being equal.
Clubs, have 14 working days after today’s congress, to pay their subscription fees ahead of the start of the new season.
Division Three clubs are to pay GH¢500.00 with juvenile clubs asked to pay GH¢350.00 to confirm their participation.
