FC Samartex coach Amadu Nurudeen said, his side has no choice than to beat Legon Cities to revive their aims for the season.
The Timber Giants, host Legon Cities on Wednesday as the BetPawa Premier League continues with midweek thrills.
The game will be played at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, Samreboi where, FC Samartex are unbeaten at this season.
And, Coach Nurudeen is targeting a win in this Matchday Eight encounter as they return to base after playing two matches on the road.
The gaffer, saw his side pick just one point from those two matches against Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC.
“Those were disappointing results, and we need to get back on track as soon as possible to the targets we set before the start of the campaign,” Coach Nurudeen told the club’s media.
FC Samartex, are unbeaten at home this season, after winning all their three games, and they will look to extend this record on Wednesday.
A win for the home side, can take them top of the table if results elsewhere this midweek, favours them.
And, according to Coach Nurudeen, this is what they will be playing for in front of their home fans against a Legon Cities side that can be a handful for either side on their day.
Coach Nurudeen and his charges will hope Legon Cities do not come to the party tomorrow afternoon as they go for three points.
Legon Cities are fifth on the table with 11 points, one better than their hosts, and they will not go down without a fight knowing a win of their own, can take them to the top of the stairs if other results work in their favour.
