Undefeated Ghanaian light heavyweight Bastie ‘The Beast’ Samir (20-0-1, 18 KOs) returns to the ring in Colorado, USA on Friday against veteran American, Cleotis Pendarvis.
The 34-year old, will be fighting for the first time since June 2022 when he defeated Pierre Kouengoue by a unanimous decision.
The Ghanaian hopes to bring his once promising career back on track to fulfill his ambition of winning a world title.
Samir, will be the favorite to win this contest against an opponent whose better years are behind him.
Pendarvis, 37, is a southpaw, with a ring record of 17-4-2, 6KOs.
Fighting on he soil, the American will look to make the most of the home conditions, but Samir should have enough firepower to keep his unbeaten ring record going.
