Medeama SC coach Augustine Adotey is set to name a new captain for the club ahead of the new season.
The betPawa Premier League champions, have been without a substantive captain following the retirement of Joseph Tetteh Zutah midway through last season.
Midfielder Kwasi Donsu, acted in that capacity for the reminder of the campaign as they won their first ever Ghanaian top-flight title.
Coach Adotey, is keen on naming a new captain for the season ahead as they compete on all fronts.
The Yellow and Mauves, will compete in the CAF Champions League, with their first game against Remo Stars of Nigeria in a couple of weeks time.
The club will also look to defend the league title they won last season as well as compete in the FA Cup competition.
They open their betPawa Premier League title defence at home to Accra Lions next month when the 2023/24 season begins.
