There were some interesting results recorded in the Ghana Premier League as the season continued with the Matchday 15 action over the weekend as Aduana FC returned to the top of the stairs.
The action started last Friday at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Dormaa-Ahenkro where local side Aduana FC recorded a 1-0 win over Bechem United with Bright Adjei scoring the lone goal.
The Fire Lads, lead the standings with 27 points, with Bechem United sixth on the ladder with 23 points.
On Saturday at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese, Nations FC drew 1-1 with Accra Hearts of Oak.
Hamza Issah scored for the Phobians with Richard Danso on target for the home side.
Hearts of Oak are ninth with 17 points, as Nations FC sit in fourth position with 24 points.
Sunday games saw Accra Great Olympics drawing goalless in the it home game at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi against Asante Kotoko.
Kotoko are seventh on the table with 23 points with the Wonder Club 10th with 17 points.
At Dun’s Park, Bibiani, Gold Stars posted an emphatic 3-0 win over FC Samartex 1996 with Alex Aso grabbing a brace before Prince Kwabena Owusu added a third.
The Miners are out of the relegation zone in 14th position with 15 points with Samartex second with 26 points.
Bofoakwa Tano lost 1-0 at home to Legon Cities with Suraje Yusif Kamal scoring the lone goal for The Royals to secure all the points.
Cities, are eighth on the table with 21 points with the Hunters 12th with 16 points.
