Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Mohammed Hussein said his side will keep working hard to achieve their ultimate goal of success this season.
Hussein, was the Star man as the Phobians secured their first win of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League (GPL), campaign, beating Bechem United 2-0 in Accra on Sunday.
And, the enforcer said, they will keep pushing to get similar results on the ongoing campaign as they seek to recapture their lost glory.
“This is our first win of the season, and we are happy with this result,” Hussein said after the victory over the Hunters at the University of Ghana Stadium, Legon.
The win, was Hearts’ first of the campaign after losing their opening two matches and, Hussein and his colleagues hope to get that going as the season unfolds.
“We will keep working on a united front as a group, and with this, I believe our efforts will lead to the success we crave for at the end of the campaign,” he said.
Hussein and his colleagues, will take to the field again this weekend in a Matchday Four fixture hoping to build on last Sunday’s result.
That will be away to Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Abrankese, Kumasi where the Phobians drew last season.
