The 2024 Bankers Football League (BFL), has been scheduled to start in July, the organizers have announced.
This year’s season, is opened to all banks in the country as the tournament seeks to expand.
Information made available by the organizers, said, they expect a very competitive campaign this season.
Registration for the campaign is already underway with the organizers expecting an increase in numbers.
The season is expected to start with a one-day gala competition involving all registered financial institutions.
This is expected to come off on July 6, 2024 to ussher in the league campaign which has the National Investment Bank (NIB) as the defending champions.
The NIB, have won the league on the last two occasions, and they will look to win it a third straight time.
The league will be played over a 15 week period on Saturday’s with the bank with the most accumulated points at the end of the campaign, been crowned champions.
It is expected to be a fun-filled 11-aside football season which is expected to promote and develop football at the amateur level whilst promoting inter banks networking and team work.
