New joint control owners are committed to growth and building on the tradition of unparalleled football excellence.
The consortium and management of Berry Ladies Football Club led by Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah, Co-Owner and CEO of Berry Ladies Football Club, and Peter Mensah Esq. , (together with its affiliates, “Berry Brands”), today announced completion of the ownership transfer of Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies Football Club (“KUSA LADIES FC” or “the Club or the Academy”). The Consortium are now owners of Berry Ladies Football Club, Valued Football Academy and Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies Football Club (K.U.S.A Ladies FC). The transaction has received all necessary approvals from The Government of Ghana, The Ashanti Regional Football Association, Ghana Football Association and other authorities.
Under the terms of the agreement, Berry Ladies Football Club Owners and Owners of Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies Football Club will share joint control and governance of the Club with Berry Ladies Football Club owners being the highest share holders. Dr. Gifty Oware-Mensah will serve as Chief Executive Officer at Kumasi Sports Academy Ladies Football Club assisting with the management of the Club/Academy.

Mrs. Gifty Oware-Mensah and Peter Mensah Esq. are committed to investing in key areas that will extend and enhance Kusa Ladies Football Club’s competitiveness, including the redevelopment of both players and their camp, further investment in the Academy, the Management Team, The Media Team , Technical Team and Team’s Training and playing kits. The new owners will also continue the important work of Berry Empowerment Foundation that will both serve K.U.S.A LADIES FC & BERRY LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB

Peter Mensah Esq. said, “We are excited to commit the resources to continue K.U.S.A Ladies FC’s leading role in Kumasi (Northern Zone) and National football, and as an engine for football talent development. We also want to thank the authorities for all their work throughout the process. As pioneers in sports and media investing, we are thrilled to partner with SamBoad Business Group Limited, owned by Samuel Kwame Boadu and other partners we will be announcing soon to meaningfully grow the Club as a national platform and hopefully go global.
