Ghana champions Medeama SC will face Remo Stars FC of Nigeria in the first qualifying round for the 2023-24 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
The draw for the event was held on Tuesday morning at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt with the Ghanaian champions at home in the first leg.
Medeama SC will host Remo Stars who finished in the Nigerian league last season, at the Cape Coast Stadium in the first leg on either August 18-19 in Ghana.
The return encounter is set to come off in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria between August 25-26, 2023.
The winner of this two-legged affair will face Horoya of Guinea for a place in the group phase of the competition.
Medeama SC, are hoping to make a strong impact in the competition, and they have been adding to their numbers in all departments ahead of the competition.
