Nsoatreman FC Official Banned for One Year Over Misconduct in Ghana Premier League
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has handed a one-year ban to Nsoatreman FC official Kudus Bashiu for misconduct during their Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko on February 2, 2025.
Bashiu was found guilty of unlawfully entering the inner perimeter and physically assaulting Asante Kotoko player Mohammed Camara. His actions were deemed a serious breach of GFA regulations, leading to the stern disciplinary action.
In addition to the ban, Nsoatreman FC has been fined GHS 5,000 for negligently allowing Bashiu access to the restricted area, highlighting the club's responsibility in maintaining security and order during matches.
The GFA has also issued a strong warning to Bashiu, stating that any further misconduct will attract even more severe sanctions.
This decision reinforces the GFA’s commitment to upholding discipline and ensuring a safe football environment for players, officials, and fans.
